Breaking ties of generational poverty and abuse through family modeling and education.
Changing the world, one heart at a time.
Hidden on the side of a mountain, outside Guatemala City, Casa Bernabé (House of Comfort) is home to over 100 children who have been placed in our care due to abandonment, abuse, or neglect. These children, the ones who came before them, and the ones yet to come, are our cause. Over the last 35 years our ministry has grown to include a school, a clinic, and numerous launch and outreach programs for our children who are aging out of our care and the biological families of our children.
The Reality of Poverty
According to statistics, as well as international opinion, Guatemala is considered one of the worst countries in the world for a child to live. The majority of Guatemala’s children are living in crisis.
