An Invitation to Help Us End the Year Strong
As we approach the end of the year, we want to pause and say thank you! Your prayers, generosity, and steady commitment have carried Friends of Children Everywhere and Casa Bernabé through a year that held both challenges and growth. Because of you, children in Guatemala have continued to receive safe housing, education, medical care, and daily support rooted in dignity, hope, and the love of Christ.
We’re especially grateful for the progress we’ve made toward a more stable funding model. At this time last year, 49% of our annual budget was covered by recurring monthly donations, and we relied on one-time gifts for the remaining 51%.
This year, thanks to many of you choosing to give consistently, 64% of our 2025 budget is now covered by monthly support. That shift makes an enormous difference—it allows us to plan wisely, respond quickly to needs on campus, and support Casa Bernabé as the ministry continues to grow.
The remaining 36% of our budget must be met through one-time gifts, and December plays a critical role in making that possible.
December is always our largest giving month, and we budgeted for $100,000 in December gifts in order to finish the year fully funded. As of now, we’ve received about $37,000, which means $63,000 remains to meet our year-end goal.
We’re deeply thankful for every gift already given, and we also want to make a clear and honest request: if you’re able, would you prayerfully consider giving a year-end donation to help FOCE finish 2025 strong? Reaching this goal will allow us to begin 2026 from a place of health and stability, ready to continue supporting the children, families, and staff of Casa Bernabé.
