Day 64 of quarantine. We wanted to share these smiles with you and this update. Today the 72 hour complete lockdown lifted to miles-long lines of traffic trying to get into grocery stores while they were open. Our weekly delivery of items that we get from Walmart was supposed to happen today but has been delayed until Saturday, at least.

We recognize that these days are fraught with uncertainty for all of us and we know that trusting God can be hard. We are so grateful that as we go through this, we have our greater, global, Casa Bernabé community. A Visitor's Sunday Without Any Visitors
Did you know that the majority of our children are not orphans? Most of the children in our care have come out of situations of abuse, poverty, or neglect, but they do still have biological families. And on the first Sunday of the month, these families have an opportunity to visit the children in our care.
