Child and Family Sponsorship
As a Child & Family Sponsor, you will have the opportunity to invest in the lives of one of our Casa Bernabé families. For some of our children, life at Casa Bernabé is brief, as their biological families just need a little time to better equip themselves to care for their child. The Guatemalan government is placing a priority on family reunification, recognizing that institutionalizing children is not in the child's best interest, nor is it a long term solution. For some of our children, reunification isn't a possibility and they will be with us for a longer period of time.
This program allows each of our children an opportunity for sponsorship, no matter how long they are with us. It allows you, as a sponsor, to build a relationship with the entire family, upholding them in prayer.
Built holistically, this program also gives you an opportunity to come alongside our house parents, helping to bless the house as a whole. You have the opportunity to respond to needs as they arise, as well as support the “fun things” like special outings and birthday parties. This program gives you an opportunity to get to know more about the amazing couples who are following a calling from God and doing the hard work of caring for our kids on the front lines. Our house parents really are the backbone of Casa Bernabé, and getting to know and love them is an honor.
As a sponsor, you will receive:
An annual prayer card with an updated picture of the children in the house you sponsor, along with their birthdays so you can pray for them by name
Exclusive email updates with specific prayer requests and needs from the house you support as they arise
