Today we are excited to introduce you to Rosi, mom of two sons and a beautiful daughter and our girls in Casa Ester

1.     How long have you been at Casa Bernabé?

I have served at Casa Bernabé for 4 years as a house mom.

3. What is your greatest joy in serving in Casa Bernabé?

It is a rewarding and satisfying experience to be able to share with these young people and help them mold their character. Also, having the opportunity to build relationships and establish that special bond that is only created between families. Although, there is no infallible formula to create the “perfect” family " it is important to face their situations patience, trying to understand their feelings.

3.     What breaks your heart?

The hardest part is knowing that there are children who will never be able to be with their families, knowing their future is unknown, knowing nothing is known about their families.

4. As a mother, what is it like to raise your biological children together with the other children in your care?

It has been very difficult for our daughter to share her parents.

5.     What are some of the proud "mom" moments of this past year for any of the children in your home?

I am proud of each goal that the children set and achieve. They continually make me proud. I am proud that they show the values that their academic and family achievements have instilled in them.

6.     What does it mean to you to be a mom?

Being a mother is not only giving birth, it is more about leading them through their entire lives.

Being a mother means that your heart is no longer yours but wanders wherever your children are.

Being a mother is to instill high and beautiful values to love God above all things, to love life and our neighbor.

Being a mother is not only raising a child, it is guiding love, respect and trust.

7. How can we help you better?

I have realized through my time of serving at Casa Bernabé that there are many missionaries and people committed to God who want to help us as a family, support us in our needs. When I saw this question I thanked God, I have been praying for the opportunity to share this request, because we really have a need, that when we go out for rest, we can enjoy our rest as a family. In this way you can help to bless, not only us, but all the families who serve in Casa Bernabé, those who are inside the boat working in this ministry. Thank you for taking the time to read our petitions because this is an example of the power of prayer.
